Hours: Full Time
Seeking a motivated individual to provide community support to two individuals living in the Northfield/Montpelier area. Job duties include providing social, recreational, and educational support, assisting with communication and providing transportation to access a variety of activities and programs in the community. 20 hours/week will be spent supporting each individual. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be flexible and open-minded.
Experience with or knowledge of developmental disabilities helpful.
Skills: The successful candidate will possess the ability to:
Work independently as well as part of a team.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Transport consumers using personal vehicle.
Record data and submit paperwork in a timely manner.
Participate in trainings.
Follow and implement individual support plans and guidelines.
Follow and implement agency policies and procedures.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Willingness to use personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a safe, reliable, and insured vehicle are required. EOE.
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Some college or Bachelors degree preferred
