Location: Barre, VT
Hours: Full Time
Seeking a motivated individual to provide employment and community supports for two individuals living in the Waterbury/Warren area. 23 hours of employment services will be provided to support the individual on the job site. 2 hours of support will provided assisting this individual to access the community in order to build his social and recreational skills. 15 hours of service will be provided to another individual who lives alone in his own apartment and requires assistance with meal planning, shopping, and other independent living skills. This is a 40 hour/week position with benefits, Monday through Friday.
Skills: The successful candidate will possess the ability to:
Work independently as well as part of a team.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Transport consumers using personal vehicle.
Record data and submit paperwork in a timely manner.
Participate in trainings.
Follow and implement individual support plans and guidelines.
Follow and implement agency policies and procedures.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Some college or Bachelors degree preferred. Willingness to use personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a safe, reliable, and insured vehicle are required. EOE.
