WCMHS provides a full continuum of quality care to adults in the community who are experiencing stressors of daily life, acute emotional distress, serious and persistent mental illness, and co-occurring substance use disorders. This support is offered through both outpatient and community-based services that is tailored to each adult’s needs.
Adult Mental Health Services at WCMHS includes the Community Support Program, Outpatient Services (through the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services) and Crisis Services.
WCMHS promotes the philosophy of Recovery through the care we offer individuals in our community. Please see our Voices of Recovery document to learn more. We also are putting Recovery Stories on the website. These are inspiring and informative stories that individuals want to share with others who are on the Recovery journey as well. Thanks to all for these wonderful stories!
How Do I Access Services
Start by calling (802) 229-0591 to speak to one of our friendly Intake coordinators. You will be asked what kind of services you are seeking and depending on your answer (children’s services, adult mental health services) you will be directed to the correct person. You may also be asked some routine questions and to schedule a brief interview to begin the process of accessing services. If you are not sure what services you are seeking, or what programs we offer, WCMHS will work with you to help you determine and access the services you may need.
